Grinder. From the series: tools in action.
The grinding action of the grinding wheel on a piece of rebar causes metal sparks to fly in all directions.
By using a dark background during the shot, the sparks are beautifully visible, and the outer edge of the disc is coloured luminous orange by the heat.
