The Terschelling drowning cottage stands on the beach of nature reserve De Boschplaat, about 8km east of Oosterend. Because it can only be reached after a brisk 5km beach walk, the beach here is almost always completely deserted, and mostly untouched and untrodden. After a windy day, all human traces are usually erased.
Shot in 2022 on Terschelling, on the North Sea side of the island. Here one finds the widest and most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands.
