Together with my stylist, we built this artwork layer by layer. First the background, then the clothes, then her tufts of hair. She was beautiful. But I was missing vibrancy and playfulness. I asked my stylist to tickle her with her shadow and then this one moment emerged.
As a photographer, the first thing I look for is atmosphere, a setting to match and light. When all those elements come together, there is still a human being and a human being is alive. I don't take the photo alone, I always do that together with my models. And in this case also with my stylist.
Personally, this photo always makes me very happy. I look at it regularly to remind myself to keep playing and living.
