Even though I am not fond of photographing alleys that are so obviously planted and straightened by humans, I love this path. The light seems to be different in this area than anywhere else and on this particular foggy September morning, the same morning when I created Saga of the Obscure Trees which is also available as a print, I had extensive issues with my camera, but the light was amazing. I made an image of this scene and had to take a second shot because my camera failed and I wanted to be sure that one of the images would be captured correctly. All of a sudden a haze hovered in the foliage on top and lit up the top of this frame which was one of those magical moments that I am always so grateful for to witness this with my own eyes. It made this maybe slightly more common scene come to life in a very unexpected way
