When I point my camera at the beach, I look for the moments when sand and water combine to create a fleeting work of art. This work grew out of my fascination with the play of nature: how waves recede and leave behind patterns that exist for only a few seconds. While capturing this, I felt the magic of impermanence-a reminder that beauty often lies precisely in the temporary.
The atmosphere evoked by this work is dreamy and contemplative. The soft tones and flowing lines breathe tranquillity, as if the sea itself is wielding a brush. It is reminiscent of the lyrical abstraction and painterly approach of artists like Vija Celmins or the organic structures of Richard Long, in which nature and art merge. As in the tradition of abstract expressionism, the focus here is not on recognisable forms, but on the experience of movement, rhythm and emotion.
What makes this work special to hang on the wall is the way it surprises again and again. Each look reveals new details, new layers of meaning. It is not just a picture of sand and water, but an abstract landscape that takes the viewer to a place of silence and wonder. Those who take this work into their homes are choosing a timeless piece that makes the power and poetry of nature tangible.
