About "Through the mists of time"

About the artwork

An unforgettable morning on 11 September 2022. Not too far from home and having seen in advance that it could possibly be foggy. However, it always remains a gamble with this kind of planning. You never know exactly how it will turn out at the intended location. On the way, of course, it shouldn't be too foggy either. 9 times out of 10, it doesn't turn out as you have in mind. Good thing, though, that from this month onwards, the alarm clock no longer has to be set so early. This beautiful spot with poles in the water lends itself perfectly to long shutter speed photography. The sun tried to pierce through the fog, but hardly succeeded. This did result in this fine atmosphere. Foggy enough to create this mystical image, but not too much so that something was still visible in the background. This gives just a little more depth to the photo. The calm weather created a beautiful reflection in the water. This makes me happy.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
