Dark clouds were gathering over Hellevoetsluis. The lighthouse had been on my list for a while. I arrived on time and for a while it looked so threatening that it looked like the sun would not show itself again. Slowly but surely, a patch of open band appeared below in which the colours of the setting sun became visible. Exactly above the lighthouse, a 'hole' appeared in the cloud cover. As if space was made for this icon. The shadow reflections on the water give something extra's. Because long shutter speeds were used here, the movement is easy to see. In short, it was a beautiful evening with a spectacular image as a result. My mission was successful.
