Because of a sunset and a perfectly timed cloud, this picture was created!
During our hike to climb the Le Grand Veymont in the French Pre-Alps, we were saddened to see little of the view at the tip of the mountain. But Mother Nature provided another consolation prize on the way to our overnight stay.
The photo always makes me feel like we were the first humans on Mars, the combination of fog and sun looks just like windblown sand as if the Sahara Desert was back in its monthly moult.
