Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Three petrified trees in orange sand dunes’ by Peter van Vuuren

The picture was taken in Namibia at "Sossusvlei".

The saplings are in a valley surrounded by giant orange sand dunes, (called "Deadvlei") and in them are dozens of saplings.
In the photo, a very balanced composition was made with only 3 tree trees in the picture. The dried-out bark of the little trees has a very nice pattern. To make this structure stand out even more, I used a special technique in post-processing the photo.
You can see the trees against a background of high bright orange sand dunes and a clear blue sky.

It took me almost an hour to take the photo without any other tourists in view. In the end, my patience was rewarded and I was able to take the photo as I had in mind on the spot.
