The photo was taken with a long shutter speed for bird photography combined with moving the camera while taking the picture (Intentional Camera Movement), sometimes creating unusual, abstract shapes. Together, these three geese formed one bird.
The photo was converted from colour to black and white and then I made a negative version of it.
The negative version of this photo is also for sale here, under the name "Three birds together form one bird 2". For that photo, I converted the black-and-white version to a negative. Together, they then form a nice diptych.
