Three Wishes in Bordeaux - Still Life with Fluffy Balls

by Mayra Fotografie

Some moments call for silence. This wall decoration captures just such a moment: three delicate fluffy balls reach upwards from two earthenware vases, set against a deep burgundy background. The result is a timeless still life reminiscent of a classical painting, yet with a modern, serene feel.

Who hasn’t blown away a dandelion and quietly made a wish? In this piece, there are three, ready to be carried away by the wind. It is a small, poetic reference to dreams, hope and the beauty of transience.

The warm burgundy of the textured wall contrasts beautifully with the soft sand and clay tones of the vases and the rough wooden bowl. The soft light reveals every detail: the grainy texture of the vases, the fine fluff and the lines in the wall. This creates a tranquil composition with depth and character, revealing something new with every glance.

‘Three Wishes on Bordeaux’ fits well into an interior featuring natural materials and warm earth tones. The piece complements a rustic, Japandi or wabi-sabi style beautifully. In the living room, bedroom or dining room, it instantly brings a sense of calm and atmosphere. It also makes a meaningful gift: a wish to hang on the wall, for yourself or for someone dear to you.

Let yourself be captivated by the understated beauty of this still life and give your interior a touch of quiet elegance.
