Threatening clouds over the landscape

"Black-and-white photograph of an industrial landscape under a threatening sky. Two lone lampposts stand upright against the background of dark thunderclouds. The air is heavy, the wind seems palpable. Everything breathes silence before the storm. A rugged, desolate atmosphere - like a scene from a dystopian film. High contrasts, dramatic lighting, textures in the cloud cover and industrial elements. An artful photograph that shows tension and beauty in contrast."

With my work as a street photographer, I show the rough, unpolished sides of city life. With my photographs, I try to capture the beauty of everyday moments. The viewer can then invent his or her own story to go with it. I also have a fondness for industrial environments, such as harbour sites and factory buildings, where traces of the industrial past are still present. In doing so, I try to photograph subtle details, using both digital and analogue cameras.
