Industrial heritage at the Woudaemaal
A fascinating sight the steam pumping station the oil pots. The spanners on the plates a piece of the pumps. The old tiles against the walls the atmosphere of the pumping station is well shown in this photo. The Woudaemaal is fascinating to see.
With my work as a street photographer, I show the rough, unpolished sides of city life. With my photographs, I try to capture the beauty of everyday moments. The viewer can then invent his or her own story to go with it. I also have a fondness for industrial environments, such as harbour sites and factory buildings, where traces of the industrial past are still present. In doing so, I try to photograph subtle details, using both digital and analogue cameras.
