About ‘The wind in the shells’ by Irene van Wel-Paquay

The sea and the wind are inseparable. And the shells are trying to keep their place.

A special photographic technique resulted in this picture.
I regularly visit the coast in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, in Cadzand-Bad, and each time I am inspired by the beauty of the sea, the beach, the shells and the dunes.

For me, it is always a challenge to take a picture that is not "standard" but rather experimental.
One that you can't just take with an iPhone.

The earth tones often appeal to me, the sand colour, touch of blue, terra tones. You can find them all in the shells and sand.

If you look closely and zoom in, you will see that the colours blend together beautifully, as if it were painted.
The sparkle of the sand grains and the sharpness of the shells.

In a contemporary interior, the picture will feel completely at home.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
