The site of Pisac, nestled in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is famous for its agricultural terraces and imposing ruins. At an altitude of 3,300 metres, the site offers an exceptional panorama of the Urubamba valley, with its verdant mountains and sparkling rivers. The stone terraces, built to optimise agricultural production, are a real feat of engineering. There are also temples dedicated to the Sun and other ceremonial buildings, creating an atmosphere of mystery and spirituality. For lovers of hiking and history, Pisac is a unique immersion in the grandeur of the Inca civilisation.
