Therefore, sea swimming pools were naturally built where appropriate.
I was travelling along the often rough north coast of Madeira when I found this sea pool at dusk.
A long exposure makes the waves and spray look like a fine mist floating above the surface of the water.
Above the horizon, the fine clouds drift like streaks.
