Westland is still and mostly known for its agricultural industry. Flowers, plants and vegetables are now the main crops, as it is called. Until around 1960, however, grapes were also grown in Westland. Grapes were even an important export product. Competition from abroad was, among other things, the reason why grape cultivation, of necessity, stopped. The grapes were grown in special, simple, greenhouses. The creation clearly shows that these were iron frames covered with glass. When a greenhouse is then no longer used and also no longer maintained, that creates something beautiful again. Time seems to have stood still. I remember taking the original photo and really feeling like I was back in the sixties for a moment. In the background is a type of department store, still called a greenhouse, which is a lot more modern. Nice that difference in one photo. Respect for the generations that made sure we can still enjoy the past today. A respectful gesture, in my opinion, can also be to turn something old and dilapidated that radiates horticultural history into a beautiful black-and-white creation. Beautiful to incorporate into your interior. To hang in your business space, you can also, Or....., in the reception area.
