About the artwork

The little fox has a forewing length of 22 to 25 millimetres. The basic colour of the top of the wings is orange. A band of alternating yellow and black spots runs along the leading edge (costa) of the forewing, terminated at the wing tip (apex) by a white spot. Also in the midfield is another black spot flanked by a yellow spot and two black dots. The wing base of the hind wing is black-brown. At the leading edge of the wing, orange runs into yellow. Along the wing edges runs a fringe with blue moon-shaped spots on the inside that are black-edged. The fringe is chequered. Both the forewing and the hindwing have a protrusion. The colouration of the lesser fox is probably an example of aposematic colouration, which deters predators. Research with feeding small foxes to the great tit has shown that it is reluctant to eat the small fox and this reluctance is greater in winged than un-winged specimens. The underside of the hind wing is dark brown with a whitish, sometimes light orange band. On the forewing, the spots along the leading edge are recognisable and the colour is also whitish or sometimes light orange with dark brown. source wikipedia

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
