Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘The island of Rügen – a little gem on the north coast’ by Thomas Bugdoll

*** Please note: Genuine photography – not AI! ***

Where the rugged beauty of the Baltic Sea meets the quiet power of nature, little works of art sometimes emerge that need no gallery at all. On the wild and romantic north coast of the island of Rügen, this special image speaks of tranquillity, balance and the unique magic of the moment.

With patience and skill, many small and larger stones have been stacked upon one another to form a delicate little tower. Each stone has its own shape, colour and texture – and yet they all come together to form a harmonious whole. As if composed by nature itself, this little structure appears both fragile and astonishingly sturdy. In the background, the vast expanse of the Baltic Sea stretches out. Almost as an afterthought, a small sailing boat can be glimpsed there, gliding calmly across the water. It lends the photograph a special maritime lightness and allows one’s thoughts to wander out to sea.

The image symbolises the many quiet moments that make Rügen so special: wind and waves, coast and horizon, transience and permanence. A small work of art, created from stones, time and a sense of beauty.

An atmospheric view of Rügen – unspoilt, maritime and full of Nordic serenity.

I hope you enjoy looking at the photo!
