About ‘The guardian of the field’ by Bernadette Bult

On a misty morning, somewhere deep in the heart of the Dwingelderveld in Drenthe, a lone tree stands like a sentinel in the landscape. The air is still and heavy with moisture; a mysterious veil of mist hangs like a curtain over the moors and fens. In this hushed moment, the world seems to be holding its breath. Everything breathes peace, a soft melancholy, almost as if time has forgotten itself.

The tree with its characteristic crooked trunk and broad crown resembles a silhouette from the African Serengeti. As if waiting for the sun to rise, for something ancient and sacred to awaken. The brown tones of the grass, the bare trees in the background and the soft light give the scene an almost picturesque atmosphere. Here, you only hear the rustling of the wind through dry blades of grass and the distant call of a bird.

This is a place where the soul comes to rest. Where nature whispers that it is good to stand still. To look. And just to be.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
