The gate of Castle Gravensteen in Ghent. As the only remaining medieval castle in Flanders with a virtually intact defence system, Ghent's Gravensteen is a special attraction and therefore an important tourist asset for the city. The gatehouse, the rampart wall, the keep, the count's residence and the stables are open to visitors.
