About "The fish and the shell on the beach"

About the artwork

Fish and the shell on the beach shows a large shell on the beach with two fish. The fish are not swimming in the water but in the air and so this is a surreal work. The large shell is covered with flowers. The big fish swims in the air behind the shell so there is more depth in this work. Again, the ships put you on the wrong track. The strange convex fish swimming in front of it has the same effect. The flowers on top of the shell include a Honeysuckle and a Petunia. This makes it a colourful whole and, if possible, even more surreal, because both flowers obviously belong more in the forest than on the beach. A work with all the possibilities and impossibilities, which actually says that everything, but really everything, is possible, in art, but perhaps also in life. The colours used in this surrealistic artwork are cyan, blue, bordeaux, green, pink and orange, of course, in several shades. This work raises questions, which also makes it an interesting work to hang on the wall.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
