Florence is the heart of the Renaissance, and nowhere can you feel it better than at the majestic Duomo, or Santa Maria del Fiore. In this photo, you look straight at Brunelleschi's famous dome, a masterpiece of architecture that rises above the city like a crown. Florence's red roofs stretch up to the hills, while the looming clouds create a dramatic effect. What fascinated me immediately was the contrast between the city's rich history and the vibrant life still taking place there every day.

I took this shot from one of the city's high vantage points, after a climb that rewarded each step with an even more beautiful panorama. The details of the dome, the symmetry and the view over the Tuscan landscape complete the picture. You can almost feel the atmosphere of art, culture and Italian passion that make Florence so unique.

About Roy Poots

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
