On this day, we set off relatively early in the morning from Tórshavn as the weather forecast was not good.
When we arrived at the car park not far from the village of Miðvágur, it was raining heavily. Nevertheless, we started our hike to the world-famous Trælanípa slave cliffs. After about 10 minutes of walking, the rain stopped and we were able to walk relaxed to the cliffs. From the viewpoint to the Slave Cliffs, I noticed the coastline on the other side. I quickly realised that I had to get closer. I approached the cliffs over hill and dale. Thanks to the strong wind and the resulting fast-moving clouds, the picture looks mystical to me. In my eyes, it epitomises everything I love about the far north. Sharp cliffs, endless expanses and the sea with its waves! When I look at it, I can literally smell the sea!
