About ‘Vík í Mýrdal, Iceland’ by Thomas Heins
On the way back from the Dyrhólaey lighthouse at around 3am, I noticed the clouds gliding down the hillside. It just looked so impressive and beautiful that I couldn't avoid making a stop at the famous church. With the help of an ND filter, I was able to extend the exposure time to 30 seconds and make the sea look so smooth.

I'm Thomas and I've been into photography since 2021. I got into this hobby when we travelled to Scandinavia. In the beginning I only took photos with a mobile phone. But I soon realised that the possibilities with a mobile phone are limited. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first camera and from then on I got even more involved with photography.
My aim is to show the world as I see it.
