It was an early morning, the dew was still on the grass. As I pointed my camera at the open plain, a male blue harrier suddenly appeared above the horizon. His wings beat rhythmically, almost like a fluid dance, as he circled majestically above the field.
As he approached, I felt an unexpected excitement. His eyes, sharp and piercing, seemed focused precisely on me, as if he was fathoming my presence. For a moment, time seemed to stand still.
I pressed on, every click of the camera felt important, as if I wanted to preserve a piece of that magical morning forever. As the harrier took off again, high into the sky, a silence remained that filled the field. A silent reminder of the power and beauty of nature, and of the unexpected moment when a bird and a human truly met.
