About ‘The beauty of a Banded darter in pastel colours’ by Birgitte Bergman
I've been searching for the Banded darter for the first time. And how lucky you are if you actually find them!
They are beautiful animals with the bright red bodies and the large, transparent wings with the characteristic dark band. And when this animal also sat down on a nice spot, my day couldn't be any better.

Birgitte Bergman

A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro shots. I love wandering around in a field, forest or park looking for beautiful flowers, plants or special animals. And when you look through my macro lens, you really see how much beauty…
