About "The bear and the pack"

About the artwork

This photo was taken in northern Finland, what we call Lapland.

This image is really raw, shot with ISO 12800 , a slow shutter speed, because the time of day was 4h41 in the morning and there wasn't much sun yet.

The story round this picture:
The pack of wolves, of 7 animals in total were feasting on a carcass of an elk, when suddenly a bear emerged from the forest behind. This was unexpected even for the photographers and guide, as it meant that this bear had come out of hibernation 3 weeks earlier than planned.
From the moment the wolves noticed the bear, they made way to let the bear through towards the carcass.
Thisz situation lasted about 15 minutes after which the bear went back into the forest and the wolves had free rein once again.

For fans of raw photography, of pure nature, this is a unique view. Not a smoothly smoothed photo with perfect sharpness, perfect light......but the real wild life, taken in an instant in the most difficult conditions.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
