About ‘The atmosphere of the autumn forest’ by Henk Meeuwes

The most beautiful time in the forest is in autumn, when I look for beautiful forest paths with beech or oak trees. This is a beech avenue with still quite a lot of autumn leaves, which gives a nice soft character to this shot. It is lovely to walk in the forest with your camera in this atmosphere!

I am Henk Meeuwes, 59 years old and I live in Nieuwegein.
I started taking photos when I was in horticultural college.
The digital photography and Zoom.nl have given me a boost and taught me to discover where my interest and passion lie; The macro photography.
I find that the combination nature and macro is ideal and brings me relaxation in these hectic times.
In recent years I have also been active in landscape photography, mainly in Iceland.
