About the artwork

This map of the Western Hemisphere is specially designed to be ordered as a Wall Circle (Round print).
Please note! There is also an Eastern Hemisphere map available with Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Oceania. These two wall circles, which together form the entire world map, can be hung side by side.

This map is painted by Ricardo Bouman, a graphic designer, painter and owner of a design agency in Zoetermeer.
The original painting is a map of the world and was made with watercolor and ecoline on 300 grams watercolor paper at a size of 160x90cm. Because this work is painted on such a large scale, it contains beautiful details with contrasting colour gradients that flow into one another.

This special map has subtle and bright colours that have a clear connection with the nature and climate of the country and continent in question. South America consists of (dark) green and yellow tones, Canada and Greenland have fresh blue tones. The United States USA has a mix of green, brown and blue tones.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
