About ‘The Tree of Influence’ by Kim Aukema Imthorn

The Tree of Influence
From the HEART, the tree can bloom.
War, climate, (social) media, and the fear of publicly expressing who you are (LGBTQI+) are topics that many children and young people are very concerned about. And not surprisingly, in this changing world we live in today. I too get a stomach ache from time to time when I watch the news and yet, time and again, I choose to do the things that I DO have a say in, focus on what I myself can WeL control. This is exactly what these worried children, youngsters and their parents also need. Hence my new painting 'the Tree of Influence'.

On the inside of the tree are all the initiatives that children themselves took up from their HEART and through which they revived and grew. From giving a talk on peace, selling cupcakes for charity, chalking rainbows on the pavement, deleting apps to tile-swapping with their parents. It's all in this tree. Feeling that they are actively participating again, instead of watching helplessly, is what gives them self-confidence.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
