About the artwork

The Statue of Liberty, located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, is one of the most iconic symbols of the United States. It was gifted by France in 1886 as a sign of friendship between the two nations and has since stood as a symbol of freedom and democracy. The statue, designed by French sculptor Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi with an internal framework by Gustave Eiffel, depicts a woman holding a torch and a tablet. The torch represents enlightenment, while the tablet bears the date of the American Declaration of Independence: July 4, 1776.

Standing at a height of 93 meters (including its pedestal), the statue is a striking figure, visible from the waters surrounding New York City. The Statue of Liberty greeted millions of immigrants who arrived through Ellis Island, often being the first sight they saw after their long journeys. Today, it remains a popular tourist destination and a powerful symbol of hope, freedom, and opportunity for people around the world.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
