Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘The Slufter on Texel in autumn.’ by Ron Poot

De Slufter is a nature reserve on Texel. It was created because the sea broke through the dunes.
It is a salt marsh that has an open connection with the North Sea. After a number of unsuccessful attempts to turn it into an agricultural polder, it was decided at the beginning of the 20th century to leave the sea hole open. The Slufter area consists of a system of creeks that is sometimes flooded after a storm. You will find plants such as salt marmalade, glasswort, the fragrant seaweed and the sea lavender ear. In autumn, glasswort gives a red colour to the salt marsh.
