What is traditionally a greater Rotterdam icon than De Hef? De Hef is the popular name for the Koningshavenbrug, a railway lift bridge across the Koningshaven in Rotterdam that has been out of use for train traffic since 24 September 1993. The bridge was designed by engineer Pieter Joosting and opened on 31 October 1927. De Hef is now a National Monument, a monument commemorating the place where once the trains left the centre of Rotterdam and entered the city. Until 1994 De Hef was connected with the Willemsspoorbrug over the Nieuwe Maas, which in turn was connected with the overhead railway through the centre of Rotterdam.

The camera used is a professional 50mp full frame Canon EOS 5Ds with 24-70mm f/4L IS USM lens. Thanks to this combination and the skill of the photographer, the photo is also very suitable for sharp giant prints.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
