About ‘The Flight of the Eagle - Nature and Freedom’ by Arjen Roos

The Flight of the Eagle - Nature and Freedom is an ode to the pristine beauty of nature and the elegance of its greatest kite: the eagle. In this work, I combined the power and grace of this majestic bird with the overwhelming landscape of Scandinavia.

The image is composed of multiple layers of my own photographs taken during my travels through Sweden - forests, skies and waterfalls that together form a new visual reality. Weaving these elements into the eagle's wings and body creates a layered "double exposure" style in which animal and nature literally merge.

The eagle hovers above a composite mountain landscape, bathed in the warm light of sunrise. The soft glow, the play of light on the feathers and the cinematic composition give the work a serene and almost dreamlike atmosphere.
Here it is not about symbolism, but about celebrating pure beauty - the visual harmony between sky, light and life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
