About ‘The Eye of Evil - Friesian Stallion’ by Gewoon ROOS

In this intimate close-up portrait, I capture the eye of the Friesian stallion as never before. Surrounded by deep shadows, the eye radiates a special softness, a gentle sparkle that reveals the horse's inner story.

Where before strength and immovability dominated, here we see a vulnerable side that slowly dares to open up. It is the look of a soul that has been through a lot, carrying pain and hope at the same time.
A moment of trust, in which the horse lowers its walls and dares to be vulnerable. Precisely in this softness lies an immense power, a silent strength that comes from daring to feel and connect.

The dark framing of the eye emphasises the contrast between outer and inner worlds, between the visible and the unspoken. This picture invites the viewer not only to look, but also to feel, and to connect with the emotions hidden behind that one sparkle in the eye.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
