About the artwork

This map of Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Oceania is specially designed to be ordered as Wall Circle (Round Print).
Please note! There is also a map available with North Middle and South America. These two wall circles, which together form the entire world map, can be hung side by side.
Choose 'Round print' at material and view this work as a Wall circle.
Click on the map to take a closer look at the beautiful details of this painting.
This map is painted by Ricardo Bouman, a graphic designer, painter and owner of a design agency in Zoetermeer.
The original painting is a map of the world and was made with watercolor and ecoline on 300 grams watercolor paper at a size of 160x90cm. Because this work is painted on such a large scale, it contains beautiful details with contrasting colour gradients that flow into one another.

This special map has subtle and bright colours that have a clear connection with the nature and climate of the country and continent in question.
South Africa consists of (dark) green and yellow shades and North Africa of yellow and orange shades for the desert areas. Australia green, orange and red earthy colors. Asia, Europe, Scandinavia and Oceania (with New Zealand and Fiji) have a mix of warm and cold colours.
