About ‘The Alde Feans.’ by PEEQ.

National Park De Alde Feanen (meaning: "The Old Fens", Frisian: Nasjonaal Park De Alde Feanen) is a national park in the Dutch province of Friesland, located around the village of Eernewoude (officially Earnewâld). The national park covers an area of almost 4,000 ha. It is a "nature reserve with a rich history, an area of international significance as well. Comparable areas are not to be found outside the Netherlands." It is the largest contiguous nature reserve on the mainland of the province of Friesland.

In the national park there are still many peat moss reedlands, blue grasslands and marsh marigold grasslands. More than 500 species of higher plants are found here, including various types of sedges and orchids. More than a hundred different species of birds breed here. In the winter, large numbers of geese, ducks and waders come to lay in the area. In early spring, several tens of thousands of waders such as ruff, black-tailed godwit and curlew can migrate.

At the end of 2006, a large part of De Alde Feanen was designated as a Natura 2000 area.

The area is of great importance to (water) recreation.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
