Swedish Reflection Vertical | The Silence and Tranquillity of Dalarna by Dylan Winter Visuals

‘THE NORDIC HORIZON — STILLNESS’

This work captures the essence of Scandinavian nature: a crystal-clear lake in the wilderness of Idre Dalarna, Sweden. What makes this image so powerful is the phenomenal reflection. Thanks to a moment of absolute stillness, the dense pine forests and the gently rolling mountain ridge are reflected with razor-sharp clarity on the water’s surface. It invites the viewer to pause for a moment and take a deep breath.

The inspiration came during a hike in the early evening. The low sun of the northern ‘golden hour’ casts a warm glow on the treetops, which contrasts beautifully with the cool tones of the water and the mountains. For me, this piece represents the tranquillity and balance that can only be found in the true wilderness.

This vertical composition specifically emphasises the depth of the reeds in the foreground and the height of the coniferous forests, creating a beautiful sense of space on any wall.

In an interior, this piece is a true haven of calm. The natural shades of green and gold bring a warm, organic atmosphere to the room. It fits perfectly into a Scandinavian-style design or an interior featuring plenty of natural materials such as wood and linen, but also provides a serene contrast in a sleek, modern space. A timeless piece of art for those who love tranquillity and the pure beauty of the North. Inspired by the wild nature of Scandinavia.
