About ‘Surfers' paradise’ by Arjen Roos

"Surfers Paradise" is a beautiful photographic image of Scheveningen beach, showing kite- and windsurfers during a windy day. Scheveningen's boulevard and pier are clearly visible in the background, giving a sense of location and context to the photo. Kitesurfing is very popular in Scheveningen as can be clearly seen in the photo. The sometimes very impressive jumps the surfers make are very spectacular to see.

The softly spreading clouds betray a strong wind in addition to the many kites and the spray of sand. Perfect for these surfers, of course, rejoicing in the power of the elements. This photo is a wonderful tribute to the power and beauty of nature, and the way people interact with it. Prints of this photo are now available for sale in various sizes, perfect for a surf lover's wall or as a memento of a visit to Scheveningen.
