Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Sunset on the quiet coast’ by SR Blaauw

The day is drawing to a close as the last rays of the sun bathe the calm water in a warm glow. In the foreground, jagged granite boulders lie scattered along the beach, shaped by wind, water and time. The long exposure time transforms the sea into a smooth, almost silky expanse, creating a beautiful contrast with the rugged stones and the rugged coastline in the background.
During a peaceful evening stroll along this secluded bay, I was struck by the harmony between power and stillness. The ancient rocks tell a story of permanence, whilst the smoothed-out water symbolises movement and transience. It was this tension that inspired this image.
The warm colours of the setting sun bring tranquillity to any space. The work invites you to pause for a moment, take a deep breath and drift off to a place where time seems to move more slowly. It is precisely the combination of soft tones, natural forms and the open horizon that makes this image ideal for lovers of coastal landscapes, nature and serene interiors.
A photograph that not only depicts a landscape, but also evokes the feeling of a peaceful evening by the sea, just before day gives way to night.
