The sun slowly slants over the majestic Garonne in Toulouse, and from the right bank, the spectacle is enchanting. A colourful sky unfolds over the city as the sun sends its last rays across the water in a reddish glow.
From my position on the right bank, I look across to the left bank of the river, where the dome of the Chapelle Saint-Joseph de la Grave of La Grave Hospital stands out boldly against the sky. The outline of the historic building merges with the warm colours of the sunset and becomes a striking silhouette in the dusk.
The Garonne carries the reflections of the sky on its calm surface, as if preserving the fascinating play of colours in its depths. The water reflects the warm orange tones and soft pinks, while the contours of the bridges and promenades shimmer in the evening light.
The scenery is accompanied by a gentle breeze that makes the leaves of the trees rustle softly. The city of Toulouse awakens to a magical moment as the sun casts its golden light over the historic backdrop of La Grave Hospital.
The sight of the dome standing out against the vibrant colours of the sky gives the sunset a unique charm. History and the present merge at this moment, and Toulouse presents itself in the warm evening light as a city kissed by the magic of the sunset.
