About ‘Sunset in Sicily’ by Ton Wever
The last hotel I stayed in during my tour of Sicily was in the town of Siracusa.
From the room I had a view of Mount Etna on one side, and palm trees from the other.
But on that side the sun also appeared to set.
On one of the nights I stayed there, the sun did set very nicely, which is what I took this photo of.
Good thing…

Thank you for taking the trouble to look at my photos.
My name is Ton Wever, born in 1960 and living in Alkmaar.
Photography has always been my interest, first with rolls, but since 2009 digitally, currently with a Nikon D7500, and occasionally with my mobile phone.
As you can see from these photos, I have a broad interest in photography, my preference is nature, in the broadest sense of the word.
Please enjoy looking at my photos.
