Oudemolen is a place in the municipality of Tynaarlo in Drenthe. The village had 75 inhabitants in 2019.
The village is named after the dilapidated water mill that stood here in the Drentsche Aa. It is situated in the national stream and esdorpen landscape Drentsche Aa. The village with some farms lies at the intersection of the road Gasteren - Zeijen and the road Loon - Zeegse. In the village there is a mill, the corn mill De Zwaluw from 1837.
The Ministry of Defence has a small military training area near Oudemolen. A mobilisation complex was built on the road to Zeegse in 1952, which was expanded in 1976, but closed in 2005. It is currently used as a storage depot for discarded defence equipment (DMO disposal site). After the arrival of this location, the asphalt road between Oudemolen and Zeegse was asphalted in 1955.
