About "Sunrise over Cape Town"

About the artwork

From Lion's Head in Cape Town, during sunrise, the photo offers a mystical and somewhat alienating view due to the presence of a thick layer of smog. The rising sun breaks through the misty sky with a soft, orange glow, leaving the outlines of the city and surrounding mountains only vaguely visible. Table Mountain, normally an imposing and sharp silhouette, seems to disappear in the hazy atmosphere.

Under the smog layer, the city and its streets slowly awaken, with only occasional glimpses of rooftops and buildings visible through the diffuse light. The smog lays a blanket of silence over the landscape, while Cape Town's usual vibrancy seems to be held back.

While the smog affects the beauty of the view, it also adds an almost surreal feel to the scene. The warm colours of the sun blend with the grey tones of the fog, resulting in a dramatic and emotionally charged image. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
