Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Sunrise in the polder.’ by Nicolaas Digi Art

Up early. It was June. A lovely spring morning. Out and about on my bike, with my camera in hand. A pleasant temperature, even so early in the morning. It was just past half past five. No wind and lovely, thin wispy clouds with the occasional contrail, as they’re called. Not a soul in sight, just the sound of birds singing and a view of some buildings in the distance. A meadow and an iron fence. A few trees, some scrub, and right in between them, the rising sun! Wait, just wait a little longer. When do you take the photo? The light changes by the minute – no, that’s not true, by the second. I decided to take a few photos in quick succession. Later, I’d choose the one I liked best. Which photo has the most beautiful light, the best composition? Did I use the right settings on my camera? It’s always, yet again, a surprise when you look at the shots individually back at home.
I chose to convert this photo to black and white. The photo has taken on something mysterious, something quite special. The longer you look at it, the more distinctive and impressive the light of the morning sun on the meadow just in front of and behind the fence becomes… Have another look. I’m very happy and pleased with this photo myself. I hope you, too, are moved by the special morning atmosphere. This could be a lovely addition to your home… on your wall.
I’d love it if you could send me a photo of the wall where this creation has been given a well-deserved place in your home… You can get in touch with me via the Nicolaas Digi Art website (just Google it). Click on the CONTACT tab and ask me a question or let me know how you’re getting on.
Best regards,
Nico van der Hout
