About the artwork

This photo shows a close-up of a plume of grass, beautifully captured in backlight against a dark, blurred background. The focus is on the details and lighting.

The most striking element is the central spike, which is fully illuminated by the sun from behind. This backlight causes the fine hairs and structures of the spike to light up in a golden, almost luminous glow, creating a halo effect. As a result, the rest of the spike is darker or in silhouette. The stem of this spike is long and thin.

The bottom right of the image shows a second, less lit and greener spike or plume, which is slightly out of focus but highlights the texture of the grass. The background is very dark and out of focus (bokeh), with faint suggestions of green and black, which further highlights the illuminated spike and creates a sense of intimacy and focus. The overall mood is peaceful, natural and emphasises the beauty of small details in nature through dramatic lighting.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
