Summer Wine Moment

by Color Square

This vibrant work of art depicts an expressive still life in which a wine bottle and a wine glass take centre stage. Against a bright pink background, an energetic composition unfolds, featuring bold brushstrokes, flowing lines and colourful abstract shapes. The green bottle takes centre stage and is surrounded by broad white strokes of paint that undulate through the picture like graceful ribbons. On the right, a transparent wine glass, in which a warm orange wine glistens, complements the composition and reinforces the sense of a relaxed, festive moment. The painterly approach gives the work a spontaneous and contemporary feel. Loose patches of orange, turquoise, green, yellow and lilac overlap, creating a playful rhythm without losing the recognisability of the subject. Notable features include the coarse brushwork, the visible brushstrokes and the subtle transparency in the bottle, which lend the work a lively depth. The abstract forms surrounding the bottle can be interpreted as leaves, movement or the atmosphere of a summer’s evening, elevating the still life beyond a simple table scene. Thanks to the exuberant colours, the dynamic composition and the free-flowing painting style, the work radiates cheerfulness, hospitality and creativity. It makes a striking statement in a modern interior, kitchen, dining room or wine bar.
