In 1997 I moved from Amsterdam to the charming town of Zutphen - situated on the river IJssel.
In 1998 a tibetan terrier came into our family, who had to be walked in the forelands a few times a day. Every morning the IJssel river offered a different sight:
barges, canoeists, high and low tide, patches of fog and even the occasional ice.
When I started photographing in 2014, I wandered a lot through the floodplains.
Small bird colonies had settled on flooded…

Absoluut een aanrader
Ik had twee schilderijen op canvas besteld. De print is geweldig, bijna een echt schilderij. De vervoerder had helaas de verpakking beschadigd waardoor er bij één schilderij een deuk in het canvas…
