Cefalú is traditionally a fishing village in the north of the island.
Its location is without doubt special; between a steep mountainside and the coast.
A wonderfully atmospheric area for photography. Cefalú was founded as early as the 12th century. This has created a streetscape full of beautiful buildings and special squares.
In my photo, you can see how fantastically beautiful the partly derelict buildings line a small beach.
In 1997 I moved from Amsterdam to the charming town of Zutphen - situated on the river IJssel.
